A official can see available assignments/games by clicking on All Official Assignments from their home page, and selecting a date. There are three ways an official can be assigned to a game, depending on what option the league has selected. If you are unsure of how your league does its official assignments, check with your Official Coordinator. The three ways available to a league are:
1. Assignment by the Official Coordinator - You can request an assignment by sending an email to the address above the official assignments. When the Official Coordinator assigns you to a game, an email is sent to you. The email may indicate that you need to confirm or decline the game, which you can do on the All Official Assignments page or the My Current Assignments page (see below).
2. Request by the official - If your league uses this option, you will see I'd Like It buttons next to any game that has not been assigned yet and that is within your comfort zone. If you request a game by clicking on , a notification email will be sent to the Official Coordinator, and the request will also be available to view online. If the Official Coordinator assigns you to the requested game, you will receive an email notification. The assignment will appear on your assignments list.
3. Self-Assignment - If your league uses this option, you can assign yourself to any game that is not yet assigned and that is within your comfort level. Just click on for the game. An email notification will be sent to the Official Coordinator and the assignment will appear on your assignments list.
To view your current assignments, click on My Current Assignments. Some games listed may have Confirm/Decline buttons, indicating the Official Coordinator wants to assign you to that particular game. You can confirm or decline when you know your availability.
To see games that you have officiated, click on Games I Have Officiated. All officiated games from the current season in this league are displayed. To see games prior to the current season or to include other leagues (that use YourSportsLeague.com) click on the appropriate link above the list.
